The knitting board is a centuries old hand knitting tool that creates beautiful, double knit. This cute little tadpole board can be tucked in your purse for projects on the go! Make cozy, warm scarves quickly and easily. A simple weave and hook process makes knitting fun and easy. The yarn included is enough to complete a 65" long scarf. This kit includes a 6" x 1.5" hardwood Tadpole knitting board, 240 yards of 50% Wool/50% Soybean yarn (assorted colors), knit hook and How to Knit a Scarf DVD. The knitting boards are made of solid kiln dried hardwood by master craftsmen, and sanded to a smooth finish. This board has 16 pins on each side and the 2 rows of pins are just 1" apart. It is a stationary board with no moving parts. The spacing between pins is 5/16" for a nice solid knit.
